The Ocean Collect Project
The ocean fabric used in this product has stopped some of the 1.5 million tons of plastic that flow down the Yangtze River, China, per year, from ever reaching the Pacific Ocean.
In doing so, it also created jobs for the local fishermen and collectors who removed the plastic, who had previously lost their income due to environmental regulations that apply fishing bans in the Yangtze River and the surrounding sea.
The ocean fabric also reinforces local recycling infrastructures along the rivers and shorelines by intercepting waste before it arrives in the ocean, landfills, on the streets, and on river banks.
The Environmental Footprint.
Our ocean waste fabric production is designed to be energy, CO2 and water-efficient.
The production uses 70% less energy, 75% less CO2, 86% less water than non-recycled fabrics.
To create a new batch of fabric, we need to remove 10 tons of plastic per collection in order to fill the recycling cylinders.
We utilise blockchain technology to verify and guarantee this information, ensuring transparency in our sustainability practices. You can find more details about our environmental impact and blockchain verification here.
The Environmental Impact Report of our fabric production can be found below.
Ethically Made, Sustainably Built
Manufacturing near our ocean plastic collection sites in China makes perfect sense. Not only does it reduce transportation emissions, but it also helps us streamline the process, cutting down on unnecessary shipping while maintaining the high standards of production.

We clean up after ourselves
By primarily supporting groundbreaking technologies that remove carbon for a minimum of 1,000 years.
Ecommerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.
Here's how it works: for every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
Let's meet a few of the companies removing carbon from the sky.

Caring is cool.
Hand clean only | Iron on low temperature | Line dry |
Hand clean only; take a damp cloth and dab or wipe clean the soiled area.
Please avoid using detergent where possible, as this will leave behind residue that will clog up the fabric’s micropores and reduce the effectiveness of the waterproofing.
It is worth noting that waterproofing treatments naturally deteriorate over time. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable.
If you need to replenish the DWR (waterproofing), use a specialist gear waterproofing treatment.
Always clean with specialist cleanser before being treated.
Line dry only.
And enjoy for years to come.
